The Masterpiece by Javan

The Masterpiece by Javan

We are born into the world like a blank canvas and each person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes his mark upon our surface - So it is that we develop - But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work. For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a Masterpiece.

What's On Your Bed?

Table Topper Stand Blog Hop starts April 16th - 25th with 46 participates,
some will have giveaways.
http://www.sewiquiltnow.com/
This is a Sneak Peak - so be sure to check back on the 23rd ,
which will be my turn to "show and tell" or some say
"bring and brag."
Just be proud of what you do.

Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville fame has posted a link-up
asking what's on your bed - bet most of the pictures
have something to do with a Bonnie quilt.
Ever wonder how many Bonnie quilts there really are out there?

Usually these two were always on the bed-

This is a guest bedroom where Bonnie's Blue Heaven  (My Sunny Blue Heaven)
is always on the bed...
covering the pillows is Delectable Mountains.
Had to paint the room periwinkle when that quilt was made.

Our king-size bed currently has a solid spread and we have
the Midnight Roses Argyle quilt spread over the foot for chilly times.
This set up lets us switch out the quilts a lot.

Happy Spring y'all - it is beautiful in NC.

A fun posting! Your guest room makes me envious - ours is totally torn up waiting for the painter to arrive for a complete makeover including repairing the ceiling with a huge opening in it because of leaky pipes up above...yuck!
We do the same thing with our quilts in the master bedroom too - have a white matelasse spread for summer and a heavier ivory matelasse for winter - both which allow me to change the quilts kept at the foot. Hmmm...right now, clean folded laundry waiting to be put away is what is on that bed:o)

Pretty quilts. I have made Bonne's Mountain Majesties as a block swap. It was fun to do.

Enjoyed your blog. Found it from SewManyWays.
