The Masterpiece by Javan

The Masterpiece by Javan

We are born into the world like a blank canvas and each person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes his mark upon our surface - So it is that we develop - But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work. For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a Masterpiece.

Liebster Award

A really big hug and a hugh thank you to Rhonda
from http://gratefullstitcher.blogspot.com/

for enjoying my blog enough to nominate me for the Liebster award.
It was truly a wonderful surprise and I am very grateful for the support and kindness of her.
I love to know others are visiting and appreciating my endeavors by leaving comments.
While the origins of the Liebster Blog Award are obscure, the rules associated with it are well defined
and bloggers give this award to each other.
1. Please thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
2.  and Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
3.  Copy and paste the blog award on your blog.
4.  Reveal your 5 blog nominees (each with less than 200 followers.)
5.  Let them know you chose them by posting on their blogs.

The math suggests that...
while the Award is of recent origin -  if each winner required a month to re-reward the Liebster award,
 after one year more than 89762301673555230720 blogs would be flashing the Liebster award button.

This is really a good feelings award being shared among us who care about our blogs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 The word “liebster” is of German origin and means “favorite, beloved, dearest”.
The honor of accepting the award is traditionally done by nominating additional blogs.
I am happy to announce that my Liebster award goes to the following blogs:
Darlene Gerber lives in Ohio - http://iquiltscarletandgray.blogspot.com/ and loves her Buckeyes and has
 lots of inspiration to share.
Pat Taylor from Wisconsin- http://thoughtsfromtaylorsoutback.blogspot.com/  is a favorite because of her diversity and her thought provoking and knowledgeable posts.
 She has a way with words.
Susan from Orange County, New York -  http://quiltingasdesired.blogspot.com/
 has a longarm business and is a quilter.
Can't know too many of these people.
Diane from Pennsylvania http://dianew-dianesmusings.blogspot.com/
has a wonderful granny square quilt on her blog right now.
  Lots of interesting items to admire and be inspired by.
Kathy from Wisconsin http://troublesomecreekquilts.blogspot.com/
blogs about lots of different things to admire and
her wool projects and penny rugs are wonderful. Spend some time looking around.
I hope they accept and appreciate their uniqueness and become part of the Family of Recipients.
Joy in your Journey and may it be beautiful and full of Spring with lots of inspiration.
A sweet recognition, Judy - thank you so much! Will have to expand my own blog listings - most that I follow have hundreds of Followers!
