Inside Outside with Table Toppers

I decided to spray paint my stand a bronze color to match my accessories...

I now want the  6" stand in white for my kitchen windowsill ... that will be fun making 6" blocks.

I have found making these little quilts so rewarding and an instant source of gratification.

Sew I Quilt

DWH and I are driving around the property in the golf cart taking these pictures -
in our yard clothes so you will not get any pictures of us,
but we will wait for you should you tire.

My Hospitality Block 

This is a Wendy Vosters pattern from her book "Paper-Pieced Mini Quilts"
done in Batiks and on a wall rack with a dowel.

Pineapple and Bridal Veil

My pink dogwood is a paper-pieced Eilene Bahring Sullivan pattern.

I  found that if I took the "feet" off my standing rack,  I could hang them in the trees -

creates lots of display opportunities.

The Navy Star was done for my DWH and a duplicate was sent

 to our Navy Commander daughter-in-law in California for her home office.

This is a wonderful way to honor our military ...
surely all branches of the service have a block to represent them by now.

 I was practicing my applique and I see Mr. Gnome has not a care in the world!!!

The blue shell dish is for M&M's - especially the dark chocolate ones.

Carol Doak Parade of Stars

Paper piecing with Carol Doak designs has been a very rewarding adventure for me
 with spectacular results and finishes.

May Flowers was a free block and I used just the center of Carol's design,

 done in Andover Dimples with very simplistic quilting lines, see left corner of block.
I have not even ventured into my book of Carol Doak Designs yet.

we just had to go down the bunny trail where the bunny patiently waits on the bench for visitors ...

these adorable little birds showed up one day and just never left.

What's this?  my own creation in wool. 

I am new to dawdling in the wool bucket but at least I try ...

went with what I had on hand and even put red satin piping on it.

This was so much fun to create!!!

disclaimer... no sheep were hurt during this creation... trust me...
