Not really about basketball
GO NC State, SORRY Duke!!!
Has anyone seen the Cartier jewelry ad with the leopard on ABC
that has been airing this past week?
It is the most beautiful advertisement
we have seen, so well done and if the budget allowed,
we would definitely shop there.
We try to avoid TV commercials, but this one was impressive.

On the design wall are a few items to share.
A beautiful Christmas quilt done by my friend Phyllis ..
a Crab-Apple Hill pattern, "Over The River and Through the Woods"
Lots of embroidery and "not so funny words" were used in the making of this quilt I believe ..
a true masterpiece currently being quilted for her.

My March UFO in progress

This was a Golden Girl's swap project of D9P blocks
two years ago - time to get it done.
Sure hope there are enough blocks left to complete
five more rows - fingers crossed.
Just Takes 2, Unit 4 is complete -
Unit 5 has been posted and happens to be
a feathered star - goodness - remember my Civil War Star?
That will be a challenge and I hope I still love this BOM.

Pattern is from the book, Table Talk, by Gundrun Erla
and has lots of patterns for runners and toppers.
St. Patrick's Day wall quilts that I display every year.
Hope you have had a wonderful March so far...

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand

Lot's going on in your house.I have seen the "Over the River" quilt in 3 different color ways, but this is my favorite - the brown/black - just so earthy. Delightful DP9P. And I have loved watching everyones Take2 blocks. And way to close with the Irish Blessing.
Gracious girl - how your fingers fly!! Though never having done this particular quilt...Over the River by C.H. is one my favorites.
Congratulations on this accomplishment.
Hope this finds your bronchitis a thing of the past and you are feeling 100% better!

That "Over the River" quilt is absolutely gorgeous...I bought a kit that is very similar at Houston 2 years ago and I have not had the courage to get started on it. It is my goal this year.
