The Masterpiece by Javan

The Masterpiece by Javan

We are born into the world like a blank canvas and each person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes his mark upon our surface

So it is that we develop

But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work

For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a Masterpiece. Javan

UFO October Finishes

Thank you to Judy Laquidara at Patchwork Times for this 2011 UFO Challenge.
There will be another challenge coming up for 2012...
get your projects together, make a list and take pictures of each one.
and Judy L will set up the "Linky" gadget to sign up sometime in December.
It is so much fun and you do get to complete those PhD's
"Projects Half Done" and keeps you on track throughout the year.

I now have 12 projects done for the year, I added a couple extra,
and that will be 14 projects not stashed in the closet and there are still two more months.

This is Angels Unaware - My October Finish - completed yesterday!!!
and living with dear daughter in Jacksonville, NC.

Could not get a good close up of the full quilt in overcast skies
I did get 10 blocks close up.

This is what I was wearing while putting my quilt together - LoL
Finally turned cold enough to enjoy the warmth.

A pillow cover completed also
I call it "My Pat's Pillow" afterr Pat Taylor in Wisconsin.

October also included doing the Ghaslie Blog Hop Projects...
There were 54 bloggers that made their own projects from the same
fabric line, Ghastlie by Alexander Henry, and were assigned different days to post them.
It is still going on this week in case you did not get to follow along.
check for the links.

These are my projects for the hop ...

Looking Out Or Looking In

Trick or Treat Bowl

Little Pumpkins

October was a fun month, sometimes.
Happiness along your journey for November.
