The Masterpiece by Javan

The Masterpiece by Javan

We are born into the world like a blank canvas and each person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes his mark upon our surface - So it is that we develop - But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work. For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a Masterpiece.

Treasures All

I have had a few surprises in winning some very nice giveaways and I certainly do appreciate all of them.
Having lots of leisure time on your hands lately gives one opportunity.

There is a wonderful  new Sullivan's Ruler that I received from Pat Sloan  -
http://blog.patsloan.com/
she was previewing the rulers over several blogs and this is a really good one to own.
Love this size and it shapens as you cut - who knew.
Thanks to Pat Sloan!!!

6.5'' X 18.5'' Ruler Cutting Edge 6
Just a little information -
"Keeps you sharp so you never lose your EDGE! The diamond powder edge maintains the sharpness of your rotary blade as it spins. Full see thru non skid frosting keeps the ruler from sliding and makes it light enough to see your fabric through it. A unique red grid system highlights the 1/2'' markings, use both lines to square up blocks or to cut squares effortlessly. Large numbers make for easy visibility that never blends into the fabric. Very light 1/8'' markings do not distract when using the most common 1/4'' markings."

I won a Bird Brain Designs pattern...
love these patterns and just in time for Christmas.
Will be beautiful in traditional Redwork stitchery.
I Think Maybe I can, I Think maybe I can.
Thank you so much Pauline!!!

A very big thank you to Kathryn Duke http://www.needlesandpins.com/ who celebrated and was so gracious to share some of her favorite fabrics with a few of us.  My winnings included purples and pinks and this sounds like a little girl quilt coming right up.

I cannot forget Janet from Calico Corner http://www.calicocorneronline.com/
for her generosity of a 50% gift certificate as the September winner.
I cannot wait to browse the site to pick out my "gifty" item(s).
Just have to sign up with them each month.  It really does work.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing my delights...

A very pieceful and delightful journey to you from Judy C

I think the saying goes, "I think I can", not "maybe I can." : )

What awesome wins, Judy! I am especially interested in the ruler that sharpens your rotary cutter every time you cut! :)
