The Masterpiece by Javan

The Masterpiece by Javan

We are born into the world like a blank canvas and each person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes his mark upon our surface

So it is that we develop

But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work

For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a Masterpiece. Javan

Judy C - Located At Last

Have I mentioned I have a new computer? but I totally dislike change also? I love my new computer - it is so much faster and does so much more in less time - thank you Gary and Denise so much from the bottom of my heart. We have been forever trying to get everything in the right place working diligently so I can operate my computert with my limited ability.

Next, throw in some renovating, ongoing packing, organizing and very little sewing and you know what February has been like and it is only the 15th. Wish I could sew for the rest of the month, but my sewing buddies were over yesterday and they seem to think I should paint my bathroom before we put the beadboard up.  Yes, the floor got some ceramic tile over the weekend thanks to DWSIL (dear wonderful son-in-law) and DWH. Hoorah!!! all the floors now match. DWD (dear wonderful daughter) and I did a lot of other pre-sell stuff, mostly in the yard as the weather was too nice to stay inside.

These are pictures that have been hanging out in my files - I just haven't been able to get them until some downloads occurred.

The king-size bed all dressed up for Christmas - Picture taken about the same time I got the new computer. I am posting this now because we continue to really enjoy the smaller quilt on the foot of the bed.
We are loving this look - the smaller quilt folded on top of a neutral-colored quilt. Kinda like a foot warmer if one was lucky enough to get the time to catch a quick nap.  I believe hotels are now using these in lieu of blankets
Pillow one - I love to make and use red and white pillows.

This pillow was made three years ago for my very dear friend Anita and she is now in her Father's House with her Lord. The pillow made it's way back to me and I feel so blessed to have it because of the memories of the wonderful times Anita and I shared. The pillow also reminds me of my different friend Phyllis. (I now have several quilting friends who want to be on the block - Finally, we can have a sewing bee. We can call ourselves" Real Golden Girls".)
This one I finished several months ago and sure I must have already posted a picture.

Thanks for dropping by and checking up on me. I love reading your comments, so be sure to leave one.

Sometimes things are just out of our control and you have to say, "It is not my job to worry about that."

The computer is working wonderfully and I am so thankful for it and the people behind the scenes trying to keep me computer challenged. Happiness along your journey today. Judy C

Love your red tulips! And all the new having the current seasonal quilt folded at the end of the bed - that is what we do too - think it just looks so cozy and inviting.
Your dear friend's embroidered pillow says words that are this your own design? It is very special.
