The Masterpiece by Javan

The Masterpiece by Javan

We are born into the world like a blank canvas and each person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes his mark upon our surface - So it is that we develop - But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work. For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a Masterpiece.

My Magnolia

They almost look artificial but my blossoms are very real - we have six full-grown magnolia trees and this was the last of the blossoms last year. If only there was "blogger smell-erisms" you could fully enjoy everything this flower has to offer - it never fails to impress. There is a depth of white in the petals that I have never been able to duplicate in a quilt. The glass wronght-iron plate the vase sits on is 13" across - the blossom is very large. We always have one in the house during blooming season and it makes the house smell "so Southern." I took a lot of pictures around the property last year, for obvious reasons - hope you are enjoying. Judy C continues along her journey - hope yours is also full of beauty.

Wow! This is beautiful. I have a Magnolia tree also - our blooms are not as large, as it's a miniture tree. I never thought about bringing the blooms inside. What a great idea!! Now I can't wait for our tree to bloom again.
