The Masterpiece by Javan

The Masterpiece by Javan

We are born into the world like a blank canvas and each person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes his mark upon our surface - So it is that we develop - But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work. For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a Masterpiece.

Christmas Snow and Us

Hi to Ruth in New York - here are the pictures.  I loved every flake that fell and was surprised by how much I really miss the snow and the beauty of it falling. However, I also really missed the electricity we were without for nine hours. The gas logs did a fine job and the generator allowed us to use the microwave as we had so many good left overs available.  When living in Colorado we were never without electricity because of snow -  guess it really does have something to do with all the trees we have in NC. Ya think?  More time to watch the snow. The California kids had an adventure visiting us this year and they may have gotten a little cold but we created a wonderful memory and their flight took them back home this morning.

Ruthie the frog is our greeter and she is  under the bench hiding.

Next weekend should be in the 60's and the Jacksonville kids will be here for creating some more memories.

Stay well and have a wonderful day while on your journey from Judy C and DWH

My goodness, Judy - you look just like us! Isn't it amazing how snow can transform the landscape!
We have been following the weather news and know the entire East Coast is getting a good dose of our regular winter...
We routinely lose power up here in the Northwoods and the generator is our lifeline! Glad you could enjoy those Christmas leftovers in a warm, cozy setting. Take care and have a good day.
