The Masterpiece by Javan

The Masterpiece by Javan

We are born into the world like a blank canvas and each person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes his mark upon our surface

So it is that we develop

But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work

For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a Masterpiece. Javan

Celtic Quilts - What Fun

I have been asked about posting some of my quilts and I came across this group while looking for my Christmas quilts and runners.

Hope you enjoy my Celtic offerings.  They were a lot of fun to make and the first one is my favorite...  I have this hanging in our foyer hallway.

This one is very intricate and took a lot of concentration to make sure the bias was woven correctly.  Had a couple of "start overs" but finished in grand style .

This is a true Lover's Knot Celtic design and is my DWH's favorite.  Guess because I made it for him.
Celtic Crosses - one with Folk Art fabrics and one with Batiks.  I have not learned how to crop pictures yet, but will work on that day after tomorrow and the first of year.  In fact, there are a lot of things I will be working on "after the first."  Wishing you happiness and contentment in your journey from Judy C

How beautiful!!! I love the colors and the details. I can only imagine the amount of time and effort that went into them. Thank you for sharing.

Have really gotten behind on what you are up to - the Celtic quilts are so dreamy - love your attention to detail. I caught the PBS showing of Riverdance last night (in Beijing) and my feet are still tapping - when I look at your quilts, I can hear all the beautiful music.
Your suggestion about mailing Christmas cards between holidays is excellent and relieves so much pressure! Thanks! A new tradition is started this year!!
